The Federal Law Enforcement Officer's Association has teamed up with Albany Running Exchange Event Productions to create a unique and meaningful event aimed at raising money for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Operation SAFE CHILD program run by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services.
NYS DCJS staff will be on hand to fingerprint and photograph children as part of Operation SAFE CHILD.

The 2008 event featured what may be the best finish of any event in recent time. 2007 New England Runner of the Year Andrew Allstadt charged past Stephen Chemlany in the final three yards of the race, finishing in a dead heat. Third and fourth also finished stride for stride four seconds back.

Emily Bryans ran away with another victory, claiming the overall prize and the first Master's female in the process.

Willow Street claimed the top male team while the Albany Running Exchange "Elegant Princesses" took the ladies side. Both teams won $350 gift certificates to Filet 7 West.
